I find breakfast to be very hard for me and my husband as we are running out the door at different times. I have starting making overnight oats which is keeps me very full and is delicious. Here is how to make them.
I use a mason jar and add these ingredients:
all measurements are approximate
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup old fashion oats (uncooked)
1/2 cup of yogurt
1 teaspoon chia seeds (thickens it up and is very healthy)
1/4 mashed banana
Then comes the exciting part which you making it flavored. Add whatever you like, but here are some of our favorites.
peanut butter and chocolate chip
frozen blueberries and strawberries
pecans and kakao powder
Stir it up and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy!
