Swiss Steak

Ingredients:

1 med onion

2 cans stewed tomatoes

2 carrots

Round Steak or Cube Steak

Directions:

Sauté onion in skillet with oil, cut steak in pieces and pound to flatten. In a bowl put in flour, garlic, salt and pepper. Dredge meat into this mixture. Fry meat in oil until brown fry quick and high then turn heat down. Place onion and diced carrots over meat then dump stewed tomatoes over the top. Add salt and pepper to taste. This must simmer at least an hour to tenderize meat.
